Course Description

The Workplace Violence Prevention training course focuses on OSHA workplace violence guidelines. This course helps employees recognize and report different types of workplace violence and safely respond if a situation escalates.

Employees will learn how to recognize warning signs and risk factors for workplace violence, what to do if workplace violence concerns arise, and how to protect themselves in a workplace violence incident.

Learning Objectives

On completion of this course, you will be able to

  • Be familiar with the factors contributing to workplace violence and the effects of violence.
  • Define workplace violence.
  • Describe the responsibilities of management, the Safety Committee, and Employees in preventing and managing violence & harassment
  • Be aware of the various policies in place to prevent and deal with violence and harassment in the workplace.
